OK, you guys…

Enough of all the Christmas posts, already!  We haven’t even had Thanksgiving yet!

We have a radio station in town that used to start playing nothing but Christmas music right after Thanksgiving.  Not this year!  They started playing Christmas music RIGHT AFTER HALLOWEEN!  Noooooooo!!!!

Target is already decorated for Christmas – I haven’t been to any other stores yet but I bet they are all doing the same thing.

ARGH!!!!

/rant off.

Back to the Ocean Waves quilt.  I did a test block.  Can you say, spectacular FAIL?

Back to the drawing board or more likely back to the cutting table and sewing machine.  It’s so bad, I’m not even taking a picture of it, LOL!

I finally DID get my Rouenerries Fat Quarter set from Hancock’s of Paducah.  Woo, that is some fine fabric.  Let me tell you, NO rotary cutter is going to get near that fabric until I get WAY more precise in my cutting and sewing.

Oh yeah.

Be well, people, and have a great weekend!

Oh, one more thing – you folks in Menominee, Michigan, it’s time to vote Bart Stupid, oh sorry, Bart Stupak out of office.  Take care of that, will ya?   I am really, really sick of men trying to control what women do with their bodies.

We ran into our first Christmas music and displays here -two- weeks before Halloween. I thought C was going to go all Godzilla on them.

They’ll probably start counting next year’s Christmas sales in February next year to make the numbers look okay.

And sorry about your test piece. Sometimes yarn and material wants to do what it wants, not what we want. I bet that’s it.

I hope you’re having a great day.

OMG! I found a Xmas music station in NH. My Prince was NOT happy; he likes his classical music and Mom’s Xmas station lasted all but one song. He declared, “That’s enough Xmas music for today!” and just turned it off, LOL! On hs behalf I must add that Xmas music is allowed between Thanksgiving and Xmas, just not before Thanksgiving, and not after Xmas. It’s “scheduled in” as part of the holiday season. Before it was changed to a scheduled activity it went on year round so it had to be moved to a set calendar date to avoid Rudolf in July…trust me, that gets old, real fast! LOL!
No tree here, no decorating until after Thanksgiving…again, it’s the scheduled holiday thing; just one more “perk” to living with Autism.

I can spell Rudolph, I really can…but not this late in the day. My mental spellcheck ends at 9PM< LOL!
